Hazel Beveridge
Hazel has recently joined Ernst & Young as a Director in the general insurance actuarial practice. She is a qualified actuary with over 25 years’ experience working in a wide range of actuarial, insurance and business settings. Most recently she was responsible for the finance and actuarial functions at Talsen, a start-up advisory firm, and previously held a role at the Financial Reporting Council where she advised on issues in technical actuarial standards.
She is a passionate advocate for helping individuals succeed in their careers and widening access to opportunities in maths, finance and new technologies. One of her key priorities is ensuring that all young people have the opportunity to fulfil their full potential, regardless of their background.
