An Artcoop exhibiting artist commented:

We are absolutely delighted with the exciting variety of artists that are participating in the exhibition this year. We believe there is something to suit everyone’s taste and budget, with work priced from £20-£1,000.   It is great to be able to use this wonderful space again and show how vibrant and diverse the art scene is in the South East

The Exhibition will run from 27 April to 17 May 2017 during normal College opening hours.

FEATURED ARTISTS

Anna Louise Cox

Her current practice has consisted of collecting organic materials from her local environment and working with them along with other materials such as thread and recycled paper to create unique works of art, not far removed from their original condition.

David Tinn + Karen Williams

D+K made a decision to work collaboratively through the discovery that the association of their techniques and processes generates a more compelling aesthetic, distinctive style from their individual work. Colour, line, structure and composition inform two and three dimensional spatial relationships through the transformation of surface, form and material. This is a hybrid practice that uses drawn processes in union with the material fact of print and sculpture to explore new possibilities for making.

Paul Sanders

Passionate about landscape photography, Paul loves being outside surrounded by the beauty of the world we live in. He uses long exposures which allow the light and elements to move giving an ethereal quality and a painterly feel to the images which are all made in camera with only minimal adjustments.

Pippa Ward

Her work often involves the scavenging, gathering, manipulating and arranging of materials, particularly plastics. She looks at man’s inevitable impact on nature through extensive use of this ubiquitous, pretentious, imitative and artificial material.

Raj Rana

His main theme is the consideration and observation of the kinetic energy within and around nature’s figurative forms. His work is delicate, yet strong and conveys a spacious, lyrical sense, where both motion and stillness are one. He primarily uses watercolour with occasional touches of gouache and ink.
