Engineering HTQs Employer Consultation - 16 April 2024, 10am - 1pm

After the success of our previous Employer events, we are hosting another employer consultation event on Tuesday morning the 16 April 2024; 10am to 1pm, which will inlcude lunch and networking.

The current suite of HNC and HND’s are being replaced this September by HTQ’s.

This is your chance to dive into the exciting changes for HNDs & HNCs to the new HTQs. Discover how you, as an employer, can shape our curriculum, provide support to students, and upskill your existing employees.

Guest Speakers

We are pleased to confrim two excellent guest speakers for the event.

Dr Sahithi P Siva, Subject Lead Engineering Higher Education for Pearson Qualifications will provide an introduction to the event and a broad outline of the rationale behind these new qualifications. She will also be available at the end of the event to answer any questions we may have.

Katherine Jenkinson will be joining us from the University of Portsmouth to introduce the Top up Degree options that are available at the University including their “Learning at Work” degree courses. We have a close relationship with the University with our current HND approved for direct entry into their Top Up degree as part of the Embedded Electronic Degree Apprenticeship.
