Childcare Students’ Food Bank Collection

Childcare Students’ Food Bank Collection

Our Level 1 and 2 Childcare students have been supporting the community by collecting donations for a local food bank at St Matthew’s Church in Redhill. They reached out to fellow students and staff and have received a generous amount of donations, which will be passed on to households in need.

The students have been very enthusiastic and said, “During class we discussed how the crisis has affected people and thought we should help. It has been a great experience to help people in the area who are in need”.

In addition to giving back to the community, this charity work also counts towards the students’ employment profile providing them with soft skills for the future.
