National Apprenticeship Week - Day 3

Day 3 of National Apprenticeship Week was well under way today, starting with a talk from Kam Dehal, Director of Business Development at East Surrey College, who spoke with local community radio, Meridian FM about the benefits of taking on an Apprenticeship. We were then delighted to welcome Canon UK who bought along Daniel, a former Apprentice, sharing how his incredible experience has been one of the best decisions he has made! Our Business and Accounting students had the chance to hear all about the different Apprenticeships available and tips on how to apply for work experience and Apprenticeships within Canon UK.

It was also fantastic to welcome Clifton Hill School, a school for children with severe learning difficulties, who presented a talk from former Supported Teaching Apprentice and ESC student Kayla who spoke to our Level 1 Childcare students all about how she has found the balance of work and assignments, her varied workload and the challenges she faces within the industry.
