Adult Learning Awards 2018

Congratulations to our winners at the East Surrey College and WEA Adult Learning Awards!

The event celebrated the achievements and progress of individuals and groups in the local community, and also involved the presentation of GCSE Maths and English certificates.

Attendees heard from Jayne Dickinson, Principal and CEO, East Surrey College and June Diegan, Regional Educational Manager, Workers’ Education Association (pictured above). WEA student Tess Shepherd spoke about her student journey, before being announced as the winner of the first award, for Personal Development. The College were delighted to welcome Crispin Blunt MP, Member of Parliament for Reigate, who presented the winners with their certificates.
