Success at the AHT Finals!

Following on from their success at the AHT Regionals in February, our talented Hair & Make-Up students recently travelled up to Blackpool for the National Finals! 

The AHT (Association of Hairdressers & Therapists) Finals bring together medal winners from the various Regional Events, for a range of creative competitions. Students showcase their talents in body painting, hair styling and make-up artistry to compete for a prestigious winning place. 

Our students, including two competitors from John Ruskin College, performed incredibly well across the different categories, with 5 students in total from Orbital South Colleges Group getting placed nationally: 

From East Surrey College 

Jess Walston (Theatrical Make-Up HND) - Body Painting (Higher Level) - 1st Place

Sidni Cue (Hair & Media Make-Up Level 2) - Full Face Painting (Snakes & Ladders) - 4th Place

Chelsea Langdale (Hairdressing Level 3) & Sian Smith-Collins (Hair & Media Make-Up Level 2) - Team Bridal - 4th Place
