Beauty Therapy students provide complimentary treatments to The Children’s Trust School
Date: 29 November 2024
Students studying our Beauty Therapy Level 2 were excited to bring their skills and talents this week when offered the chance to pamper students from The Children’s Trust School with complimentary nail treatments.
The Children’s Trust School is a non-maintained special school supporting children and young people aged 2-19 with a wide range of needs including complex education, health, therapy and care requirements.
Students were happy to offer mini manicures and nail art application – two main units they have been focusing on this term.

Lacie, Beauty Therapy student said: “It was really nice experience and I enjoyed working with my client to provide them with a hand massage.”
One Beauty Therapy lecturer commented: “This is a wonderful experience for our learners to interact and engage with other young people in the local community; whilst also using the skills and techniques they’ve learnt over the last couple of months.”
