Dermalogica Meets Our Students

A big thank you to Harriet Beattie and Claire Hughes from Dermalogica, for delivering a really fun and interactive talk to our Level 2 & 3 Beauty Therapy students. Students were given an in-depth insight into the industry and were told about the different pathways and opportunities that are available once finishing college. Towards the end of the talk, students were asked to get involved with a quiz to win some amazing prizes!

Both Harriet and Claire spoke about their personal experiences and how they became successful within the Beauty Therapy industry. Harriet shared how great the industry is:

“Once you’ve got the skills, you can go anywhere, do anything. You could run your own salon if you wanted to and be your own boss.”

Students were also told about the available resources within Dermalogica’s support programme ranging from e-learning options and recognition awards. Students were given one last piece of advice from our visitors:

“Take advantage of all the resources available to you, by gaining awards you are showing employers your achievements.”
