Art & Design Students Explore Amsterdam

Date: 26 January 2017
Students were given a gripping performance of I Love You, Mum – I Promise I Won’t Die, a play commissioned by the Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation to raise awareness of drugs and the dangers around them. The play, performed by actors from the Stopwatch Theatre Company, told the tragic story of Daniel from the perspective of his friends and his family.
Following the performance of the play, students took part in a workshop that looked at audience members’ knowledge of drugs, their effects and the impact they can have. The play and workshop have made a lasting impact, tackling a sensitive story in an educational and engaging way.
