Fundraising for YMCA!

ESOL Entry Level 1 with Business students have been running various fundraising activities at College, ahead of their participation in the YMCA Sleep Easy.
The organisation of the activities, which included a hoop toss, raffle and bingo, counts towards their 'Contributing to Running an Event' module, as part of their course. All the money raised goes towards the YMCA and its community projects.
The grand total of their fundraising so far is £119!
On Friday 26 April, students and staff will be sleeping outside the College for one night, as part of the YMCA's 'Sleep Easy' campaign. The nationwide campaign aims to raise awareness of the dangers of rough sleeping, and all money raised by the students will be used to provide employment support to the young people who access YMCA East Surrey's housing services.
