Surrey County Council have informed us that Covid rates are rising fast in Surrey, and it is important that we do everything we can to get the rates down and protect ourselves and others from the virus.
In response to the new ‘Omicron’ variant, the Department for Education have released new temporary measures for educational settings.
The College policy is now updated as follows:
From Tuesday 30 November, we require that face coverings should be worn in all communal areas (excluding classrooms) this applies to students, staff, contractors and visitors unless they are exempt or reasonable additional measures have been introduced eg, in workshops and Life Skills.
Face coverings are now mandatory on public transport and in shops, unless exempt.
There are a number of other ways parents/carers, students and staff can help to prevent the spread of the virus:

The College holds a plentiful supply of Lateral Flow Test Kits for your use. Please remember to continue testing at least twice a week.
