Date: 22 January 2020
To mark 100 years since the Treaty of Versailles came into effect on 10 January 1920, Neutral Ground Records held their ‘War Stories’ event on Wednesday 22 January.
Artists on the label were commissioned to compose contemporary pieces of music or sound, inspired by stories or images from the First World War.
Originating within Reigate School of Art, Neutral Ground Records is a multi-genre label, designed by students to promote up and coming artists.
For the students, who are studying Music Performance & Production, this was a fantastic opportunity to experience a professional creative environment.
The audience were invited to donate to the Royal British Legion, in support of members and veterans of the British Armed Forces, their families and dependents.
