National Apprenticeship Week Day 4

It’s the final day of National Apprenticeship Week! We’ve had a fantastic time this week, celebrating Apprenticeships online, hearing from our Apprentices and employers. Although the week may be over for ESC, our Apprenticeships pages remain open throughout the weekend and after, so you can get started on this exciting pathway.
Our final virtual visitors of the week was DPR Motorsport, who shared the exciting opportunities they have for our Motor Vehicle students - thank you to Owner Derrick Rowe!
There’s just time for one more Apprenticeship Story, from Jake, a Customer Services Apprentice at Reigate & Banstead Borough Council, and completing his training at ESC! He completed his Level 2 Apprenticeship and thoroughly enjoyed the course, as it helped him to build transferable customer related skills. He’s pleased to stay with ESC for his Level 3, as he was grateful for the team’s knowledge of Apprenticeships! Whilst at work, Jake is able to see how his coursework links to his role, which he’s found also helps with his own personal development and building strong customer relations. As a Level 3 Apprentice, Jake has been given new responsibility including training new starters, something which he can also include in his assignments. Jake is optimistic about the future and is planning on furthering his knowledge in customer services. |
