NEW Part-Time Course: Online Teacher Training AET Level 3
Have you thought about teaching or training?
Are you looking for something to fit in with the lockdown lifestyle?
The launch of our 6 week online teaching course could be just right for you!
Our Award in Education and Training course, starting Saturday 16 May, is designed not only to continue enabling learning during the current climate, but also fit around your current work commitments too.
The online course is a great way to build on skills which not only enables you to gain further insight into teaching and training careers, but also gives you the ability to build on evaluation and assessment needs of others and enhance how you present ideas and fine-tune teaching capability. It is a great opportunity to build on your abilities and act productively so that when the working world is back to normal, you’re prepared and armed with new skills to tackle any teaching or training task!
Our Teacher Training Lecturer, Jose Aguiar, describes the course as one to provide students with “essential skills on which to build a successful teaching or training career”. The course encourages students to identify their needs and aspirations, plan and deliver inclusive teaching, as well as design and apply appropriate assessment methods”. It allows students to access training at a time most convenient to them”.
There are no formal requirements for this course but a Level 3 qualification in your area of specialism is preferred, as well as Level 2 in English and Maths. You will also need a computer with internet access to partake in the lessons, discussions, and assignments.
