‘We all stand together’ … even when we are apart.
This is the message that the Vocal Dimension Chorus want to convey in their Frog Chorus video, expertly put together and edited by our student, Ella!
The women’s a cappella chorus based in Redhill, found an innovative way of enjoying their hobby and stay connected, by recreating Paul McCartney & The Frog Chorus' 1984 classic ‘We All Stand Together’ Fran, one of the choir members, arranged the music and the individual members’ parts, which were recorded at home with a variety of frog-themed attire!
“With its meaningful lyrics and fun persona it seemed like the perfect challenge!”

The clips were then sent to Ella, a Film & TV Production Level 3 student, who spent many hours putting everything together. She expertly took the audio from each individual video and balanced the sound, which is particularly important with a cappella music. She then collated the videos in a fun and creative way!
Vocal Dimension were so pleased with the video, that they wanted to spread some joy, and also raise money for St. Catherine’s Hospice!
Claire, a choir member, commented:
“Ella worked so hard on this project. Literally hours and Vocal Dimension are really pleased with the end result. It was a labour of love from all sides! Charities are really suffering at the moment and we would love to help St. Catherine’s as much as we can.”
Well done to Ella and all her hard work on this project, and thank you to Vocal Dimension for bringing some joy at this time! What a fantastic way to show kindness and the importance of looking out for one another during #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek.
