Exploring the Wonders of Warner Bros Studio!

Business Level 1 and 2 students recently spent the day at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London, to learn more about movie marketing!

To support their 'Branding a Product' and 'Promoting a Brand' units, the students attended a session with staff covering how a marketing campaign can influence the success and profitability of a film. The session involved a step-by-step analysis of a film marketing campaign, which allowed them to access the complex and exciting world of film making.

The students were able to examine the components of a marketing plan and understand why effective marketing is crucial in the film industry. This helped build on the business and marketing knowledge they are developing at College, whilst opening up different careers available in the industry.

Following the seminar, they had the chance to explore the Harry Potter sets, view props and original costumes from the film franchise, and take part in a free green screen experience!
