Warpaint Make-Up Championships 2019

In February 2019, Theatrical, Special Effects & Media Make-Up Level 3 students competed in the annual Warpaint Championships make-up competition. The prestigious event took place at the Professional Beauty industry trade show, held at London’s ExCel centre.
The categories this year ranged from Prom Queen to Disney-inspired Body Painting, and all the students were involved, either as students or models.
Congratulations go to Kirsten Massingham who took 3rd place in the Disney Body Painting category, with her creative design inspired by Lady and the Tramp (pictured above).
The competition was an excellent opportunity for the students to compete in a high-pressure industry setting and gain feedback and recognition for their work – well done to all involved!
