Festive Fun at ESC's Winter Fair

Students and staff at East Surrey College had a fun-filled day at the College’s Winter Fair, organised by our Enrichment team.

The fair included a host of activities to enjoy such as mini games which included a College wide scavenger hunt to win a free ESC coffee cup, guess the number of sweets in a jar and find the ESC logo within a Where’s Wally mini-game.

Other stalls included bauble and card making, tinsel hair accessories, festive face painting, flowers and plants, cakes and a charity bake sale. Stalls were managed by staff and students, the creative tables were looked after by our Hair and Beauty Level 2 and 3 students, whilst SEND students looked after the Christmas Flowers display.

As well as stalls, we also had three live performances throughout from students studying our Music Production course at Reigate School of Art. Lastly, in our Summer Garden, to warm up students and staff in the cold weather, Public Services were handing out free hot chocolate with marshmallows accepting donations.  

Jordan Johnson, Student Engagement Coordinator reflected on the overall event: “I’m delighted to see so many students enjoying themselves at the Winter Fair, it’s the first time we’ve put it on and it’s definitely going to be the new tradition. Thank you to the staff and students who put together any stalls, you truly helped bring the festive fun!”
