Carpentry & Joinery Level 1 - Jonah

Jonah enjoyed Design & Technology at school, particularly being able to create a miniature chair, experimenting with new construction skills. When considering his options for College, Jonah was undecided between Brickwork and Carpentry and visited an Open Event to speak to the tutors and find out more.

On the course, he's enjoyed being able to work on projects such as creating joints, and finds that the tutors offer all the support needed. Outside of College, Jonah has completed some manual labour work with his dad, who also works in construction, including constructing a shed for a family member.
Coming from a military family, Jonah is considering enlisting after finishing his course and then continuing a career in the trade.
