Rylan joined this course having progressed through Entry Levels 1-3 at ESC.
On his work placement at the 'Re-Use it' shop in Dorking, Rylan served customers, priced items and checked donations. He completed a daily work diary, recording the things he had learned.
"I really enjoy working in retail. The Internship is really good, I have learned a lot and feel much more confident. My teachers are really helpful and always there to support you.”
The Shop Manager described Rylan as “very keen and motivated – a complete team player and very good with customers – a credit to the College!”
Inspired by his course and experiences, Rylan has developed a passion for retail and hopes to continue working in the sector.
