Public Services Level 3 - Beth

Beth visited East Surrey College at an Open Event and said that "it felt right - I could see myself here."
Her choice to enrol onto Public Services was easy, as she takes part in Cadets twice a week. "The course appealed to me as it worked well with what I did outside of College." At Cadets, Beth carries out drills, similar to those on the course, and takes part in various adventurous activities!
Beth mentioned that her favourite aspect of the course was "drills and events such as the Armistice Day event." In November 2019, Beth was chosen to lead the Public Services parade at the Armistice Day event, and call commands to the other students.
Alongside drills, Beth also enjoys how "the course really sets you up and gives you a chance for leadership and discipline." Once she has completed Year 2 of the course, Beth is hoping to go into the Navy or Police, but is still considering her options.
