Festival season is upon us. Many families and young people are likely to head off to a festival over the summer break. Whether you are a first timer or hardened veteran its important to know how to keep yourself safe. Insert: Click to read full article and access links.

Festival Safe is a cross-industry initiative designed by festival organisers and professionals and is aimed at people heading off to UK events. It provides useful information on what to expect, how to be prepared, wellbeing, safe space and many other topics. Festivals should feel safe and diverse. 

All party-goers can play a part in modelling a culture where everyone’s festival experience is valued and no one is made to feel uncomfortable. It is important to understand some of the risks from incidents, sexual assault and harassment and how to report these.
