Bricklayer Level 2 Apprenticeship (Apprenticeship)

Please note you must be employed before applying for this Apprenticeship. Bricklayers lay bricks, blocks and other types of building components in mortar to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches and other structures e.g. chimney stacks. They might also refurbish brickwork and masonry on restoration projects. The range of sites and projects that bricklayers will work on include large commercial developments, new builds in housing, alterations, extensions and restorations.

Please note you must be employed before applying for an apprenticeship. We can support your company with this apprenticeship. We are an approved organisation to deliver the BTEC Level 3 in Construction and the Built Environment (Building services pathway). We also deliver the NVQ in the workplace. These are both recommended qualifications for this Apprenticeship Standard.

Apprentices must have achieved good GCSE grades for maths and English. Modules studied at college include Health, Safety and Environmental Considerations, Electrical Scientific Principles and Technologies, Design and Installation Practices and Procedures, Plan and Oversee Electrical Work Activities, Terminations and Connections of Conductor, Installation Practices and Procedures or Practices and Procedures for Maintenance, Fault Finding, Inspection Testing and Commissioning, Wiring Regulations There is a 3 day end assessment for this Apprenticeship
