Public Services Level 1 Introductory Diploma (Full Time)

This introductory course is an ideal option for those wanting to work in the various services, such as the Police Service, Prison Service, Fire and Rescue Services, Royal Air Force, British Army and Royal Navy. It also provides a pathway onto the Level 2 programme. This course is disciplined and practical and offers a wide range of subjects that will prepare students for careers within the services, giving them an idea of potential career paths. It offers a range of practical experience from expeditions, team building and leadership management to career planning and health and fitness.

Public Services Level 2 Extended Certificate (Full Time)

This is a practical, work related course, which develops the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding to provide you with a sound, basic public services grounding. This qualification will give you experience in a wide range of skills from leadership, teamwork and verbal and non-verbal communication. You will also complete work experience or a work based project during non-college days.

Uniformed Protective Services Level 3 Extended Diploma (Full Time)

This course is disciplined, practical, and offers a wide range of subject areas that will prepare students for careers within the uniformed services. Trips including residentials are organised to relate your learning to the world outside College which will include indoor climbing, water based sports and expeditions. The course is continuously assessed through assignments, practical project tasks and case studies. It uses practical activities, presentations and involvement with local public services wherever possible. You will also take part in work experience or a work based project during non-college days.
