Raising Aspirations Week

Students from across the College enjoyed last week’s Raising Aspirations Week, which provided them with the opportunity to access employer talks, workshops, sports activities and support groups as well as have individual reviews with tutors.

We were delighted to welcome many local employers and support organisations to the College; joining student groups to share their wealth of experience and offering an insight into working within their industry.  Employers joined us from a range of business sectors and included Fidelity International, Dermalogica, Surrey Police, Infor, British Airways and Taylor Wimpey.

Throughout the week, students focussed on the importance of key employability skills, updates on how to develop their CVs, and tips on interviews and behaviours in the workplace.
