Games Galore for Sport Relief

Team spirit and competitiveness were in the air last week, as the College hosted a variety of activities in aid of Sport Relief.

The week started with a Roller Disco session on Monday, hosted by Superfunk Roller Disco, who put on a fantastic afternoon of skating, music and raising money. One staff member commented “The effect on health and mental wellbeing was written on everyone’s face.” It was great to see students and staff get involved, and to cheer on those that hadn’t skated before speed past like a pro! 

The fun then continued on Wednesday, with a Tug of War competition, and Futsal tournament, organised by the Level 3 Year 2 Sports Students. Friday was packed full of activities, as students started their day with a Fun Run to Mercers Lake, and closed off the week, with Basketball and Dodgeball tournaments.

Thank you to all the staff and students who got involved and for making our Sport Relief activities a success, we’re delighted to say that we raised £202.93!
