At ESC we pride ourselves on creating the best possible environment in which our students can thrive. This is reflected in the excellent student track record whether in further study, higher education or employment.
We are the best vocational College in the area and we recognise the importance of enriching our courses by providing employer input into the student experience. We continually develop industry links across all course areas, and encourage students to participate in industry-driven placements and competitions. Many of our students have been successful, achieving national and internally recognised awards.
We work hard to encourage the friendly and welcoming atmosphere which exists at the College, actively seeking, and being highly responsive to, student feedback to ensure that the College is a place where people want to learn.
East Surrey College is committed to providing high quality training and learning opportunities for all our students. All aspects of what we deliver at the College are regularly checked to ensure that the education students are receiving will equip them for their future careers.
ESC offers students a wealth of academic, vocational and personal development opportunities. Skills such as team working, leadership, problem solving and self-management are actively promoted in all aspects of College activity. This helps students achieve a higher level of confidence and gain important skills for their future careers. We provide parents and guardians with regular reports and they are encouraged to attend parents’ evening to meet tutors and discuss student progress.
As ESC develops, we continually expand into new areas so we can offer school leavers the opportunity to study full-time or part-time in a variety of fields. We also continually invest in our facilities to ensure that students can use the latest technology within a realistic work environment.
In addition we have a growing range of Higher Education courses, which provide excellent progression routes, and we also develop close links with local schools and offer places to over 600 students aged 14-16. In 2017, our students went on to study a wide variety of courses at Universities and Higher Education institutions acrossthe country. A list of institutions and courses our student were destined for in July 2017 can be found by clicking here.
We are a friendly and supportive college, centrally located with good transport links, and we provide unparalleled opportunities to equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to develop their chosen career.
